Seeking new managing editor
The Manor Park Chronicle is seeking a new managing editor–a creative, experienced and collaborative news hound to manage the publication of its five annual issues.
The voice of the Manor Park community since 1949, the Chronicle is a self-supporting not-for-profit newspaper delivered to 5,000 households every two months from September to June.
Running roughly 40 pages in every issue, the newspaper is a rich and engaging source of news and information about local issues, people, businesses and events in the neighbourhood as well as its adjacent communities.
With guidance from the advisory board and working with an experienced and cohesive production team, the managing editor guides the development and execution of story ideas, oversees production in print and online, grows the network of contributors, and provides a modern vision of the Manor Park Chronicle.
Compensation is subject to negotiation.
If this opportunity interests you, please send your résumé and a cover letter to board@manorparkchronicle.com.
