MPCC Child Care and Manor Park Before and After-School program had so much interest this school year. This has helped us in making the decision to open up the community center for the recreational after-care program.

In the school, we currently have all our licensed childcare rooms full, consisting of two kindergarten rooms and two school-age rooms. We are so happy to welcome into the program so many new families and continue providing care for our returning families through MPCC Child care.

The yearly dance club has just started in the aftercare program . . . and behind the scenes we are working on starting practice up for our play/musical. We’re not releasing details yet in hopes of making it a surprise, but keep your eyes peeled as all the children are very excited to announce the name!

We look forward to more fun events and activities in the before and after-school program.

The classrooms are abuzz, artwork adorns the walls, and laughter can be heard from every direction. That’s right, MPCC Child Care Centre is officially licensed and fully operational!

Since opening our doors in September, the children, parents, and staff have already become a wholesome part of the greater Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) family. I am also thrilled to share that we have finally been accepted into the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care System. This affords us the opportunity to bring quality, accessible child care to our community.

After only a few short months, MPCCC already feels like a second home to me, a feeling I hope everyone here will also share. I cannot wait to watch the daycare continue to blossom!
