A large group of Manor Park residents and officials gathered Sept. 23 for the inauguration of the Sumac Footbridge, located at the eastern end of Blasdell Avenue. Cutting the ribbon to officially open the structure are Ismael Orion Di Carlo and Michael Acadia Di Carlo, whose father Anthony (standing behind) was a member of the Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) bridge naming committee.
