Manor Park Child Care Centre will be opening soon
It’s that time of year! Registrations are open for licensed summer child care and “Before- and After-School in Manor Park” for the 2023-2024 school year.
All of our licensed programs are run by nurturing and supportive registered early childhood educators (RECE) and child care staff. Most of our team has been with MPCC for many years and are passionate, caring, and extremely talented! We pride ourselves in offering high quality, safe and fun programming for children ages 4 to 12 years old.
Start thinking about registration for our new daycare, Manor Park Child Care Centre! Renovations are underway for a September 2023 opening for toddlers and preschoolers. Parents have shared with us their most important considerations when choosing child care for their little one. We’re listening!
The Manor Park Child Care Centre will have a caring staff of registered early childhood educators (RECE) who will create a warm and safe atmosphere. Toys and activities to encourage curiosity, exploration and healthy development will fill spacious rooms with large windows.
Renovations are underway! Close to home in Manor Park but surrounded by three acres of green space adjacent to the RCMP Musical Ride Stables, there will be lots of time for the outdoors and physical play.
This daycare will be the third child care program run by the Manor Park Community Council (MPCC), adding to “Before- and After-School in Manor Park”, and the Manor Park Playschool. For our existing child care licenses, we have opted into Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC)–otherwise known as $10 daycare–to provide families with quality care at an affordable cost.
While the MPCC has signaled that we are ready to add 54 new child spaces at the Manor Park Child Care Centre under CWELCC. In fact, we started our licensing process in May 2022 but at time of writing we do not know when this child care centre will be accepted into the program. Meanwhile, we plan to open no later than September 2023 under regular fees–but accept fee subsidies.
Interested families are encouraged to put your name on our waitlist. We will send you renovation updates, share the latest on licensing and CWELCC, arrange for tours of the new child care spaces, and introduce you to our Early Childhood Educators. Email mpcc@manorpark.ca or visit manorpark.ca.
