Take part in the New Edinburgh Artists’ Studio Tour (NEST) and be inspired while experiencing the charm of New Edinburgh!

The New Edinburgh Artists’ Studio Tour (NEST) on September 28 and 29, 2024 is thrilled to welcome the public to meet our artists. The event offers a unique opportunity to view and purchase one-of-a-kind art, and to observe live demonstrations at various artists’ studios throughout the two days.

This year we are excited to announce the studio tour has 30 participating artists, including Manor Park artists Martha Nixon and Beth Stikeman!

Media represented consists of work in oil, acrylic, mixed media, printmaking, jewelry, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and glass. The studios and gallery destinations are all within walking distance of each other.

A brochure will be available at select local businesses prior to NEST. It will include the artists’ information, their locations, and a self-guided tour map.

This event has been made possible through the collaborative efforts of our outstanding local business sponsors, advertisers, volunteers, artists, and those who have donated spaces.

We are sincerely grateful for the ongoing support and title sponsorship from Natalie Belovic of Urban Ottawa, and sponsors Align Massage Therapy Lindenlea, Beechwood Auto Service, Beechwood Market, Books on Beechwood, Jacobsons, Metro and Pandore Innovations. Thank you to our advertisers Rideau-Rockcliffe Coun. Rawlson King, Ottawa-Vanier MP Mona Fortier and Ottawa-Vanier MPP Lucille Collard.

A dedicated volunteer group of local artists work together to make NEST happen. They have all combined their collective passion with a vision to build a vibrant arts scene in New Edinburgh.

Volunteers wanted

NEST is looking for volunteers. We need people to direct the public and to hand out brochures at various locations during the studio tour. If this interests you, please contact Josée Robillard at josee.robillard@gmail.com.
