‘Second option’ for summer child care
The Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) has a second option for families during July and August!
In addition to the extremely popular summer day camps in Manor Park, we will be offering full-time licensed child care to children aged 44 months to 10 years.
This licensed program will be run by some of the caring early childhood educators from our after-school program. Planned and spontaneous activities include water play, crafts, science experiments, and games. Outdoors, they will enjoy the splash pad, play structures, sports fields and shady spots under the trees.
For children starting Manor Park Public School in the fall, licensed summer child care is a great way to get familiar with the school location. Children will do art and crafts. Outdoors, they will enjoy the splash pad, play structures, sports fields and shady spots under the trees.
Great news! Parents with children 4 to 5 years old will be able to participate at Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) rates! Otherwise known as “$10 daycare”, this provincial-federal child care initiative aims to reduce child care costs for families with licensed providers.
More great news! Licensed Summer Child Care accepts fee subsidies. Families who qualify may transfer their fee subsidy to the MPCC for July and August.
