Update: Man charged in Manor Park homicide

Ottawa police have charged a man in connection with a murder that occurred at a Manor Park residence April 19.

Kevin Willington, 53, was killed at a house on Birch Ave.

Twenty-year-old Ottawa resident Tristan Ethier has been charged with second degree murder. He’s expected to appear in court Friday May 10.

According to a news release by the Ottawa Police Service, investigators believe the murder took place during a robbery at a weekly basement poker game.

The OPS said investigators are still searching for a second suspect described as a white male, 6’1” (185cm) to 6’2” (188 cm), 190 lbs (86kg) wearing dark clothing and a mask.
