Where in the world is the Chronicle?
Sarah McCabe submitted this edition’s “Where in the world is the Manor Park Chronicle?”. Felicia and Thomas McCabe took their copy of the Chronicle to Hua Hin, a beach resort town in Thailand. It’s located 200 k. south of the capital, Bangkok.
Felicia and Thomas are teachers in Chengdu, where they run the physical education department of an international school. While Sarah and her family enjoyed Thanksgiving, Felicia and Thomas celebrated the Chinese holiday “Golden Week.”
Previous Chronicle visits include Australia and New Zealand.
Thanks to adventuresome Manor Park residents, the Chronicle has crossed many borders and continents with stops at some of the world’s most intriguing and famous locales. Stuffed in backpacks, carry-on luggage, suitcases and briefcases, the Chronicle has made its way across Canada, the US, the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Pacific region, Australia and New Zealand, and Europe.
In filling out its travel itinerary, it was fascinating to note that Chronicle’s global journey included stops in Canada (Victoria, BC; Garry Island, north of Inuvik, and Hudson, QC) and the United States (Berkley and Los Angeles, CA; Myrtle Beach, NC, and Singer Island, Fla).
We thank the many travelers who have remembered to pack a copy of the Chronicle on their travel adventures. We look forward to many more intriguing stops for the Chronicle in the coming months ahead now that COVID travel restrictions have been eased.
And bon voyage – the Chronicle’s journey is far from over! Your future travel submissions are most welcome and encouraged! Please send your submissions to editor@manorparkchronicle.com.
